Wednesday.
Shitty night. Penny woke up at about 1:30am with belly ache or sore teeth. It was hard to tell. Whatever the case, she ended up in bed with us, writhing around. It took her 90 minutes to get comfortable. Neither me nor Melissa were comfortable at any point.
At 7am I ignored my alarm until I realised it was 7:30am and I was late. Jeff was nearby and picked me up, thankfully.
Today was something of a blur due to fatigue. I'll get over it. I walked home and found Melissa and Penny going apeshit in the kitchen over Melissa's new steam mop. Penny was going mental for the large cardboard boxes that it came in. We had fun playing 'boo' and hiding in them while Melissa pottered in the kitchen.
Penny had her bath, Melissa hoovered. Soon Penny will be asleep and I'll be made to watch Melissa with the steam mop and feign enthusiasm and wonderment.
I miss her when she's at work, I really do.
