Sunday! Fathers Day!
7am, on the dot, once again. We all lay in bed and Penny gave me my presents. Mainly Batman stuff and a lovely new pair of jeans. You can see through the crotch in the other pair, so it's only appropriate.
Then, Melissa let me have a nice lie in and she and Penny got up. Only joking, I got up with Penny and let Melissa have a lie in as she's in work tonight and didn't sleep to great, on account of our smallest cat's problem with Primark bags.
Anywho, Penny and me played until about 9:30am and then she had a nap. Melissa woke up about 30 minutes later and the two of us got ready to go out, then, Penny woke up and we got her ready too.
We headed in to Wigan then, on what seems like an impossible quest for t shirts for holiday. Penny want bananas in Debenham's which was highly amusing. She kept running off and hiding. In the end, and in the last place I looked, I found some in River Island. 2 for £12, no less. Sorted.
We came home then and me and Penny watched Peppa Pig for 3 fucking hours while Melissa tidied, did her work out and phoned Canada. Then I cooked tea for the three of us and we all ate heartily and well.
Melissa went to work at 5:30pm leaving me and Penny to watch anything but Peppa Pig, and then I chucked her in the bath and then into bed. She was knackered and nodded off almost straight away. I'm still holding my breath though...
Now she's asleep I've done the dishes, tidied Penny's play room and put the rubbish out. Not exactly the relaxing Fathers Day I had in mind. I've still got to hoover! But, I've had a lovely day with my lovely family and I'm looking forward to a beer and an early night.
Back to work tomorrow. Yes. I know. Calm down.
