Tuesday. A reasonable alarm call of 7am. Penny was heard to say "button" in her sleep last night, as well as "mummy, daddy" but aside from that she was very peaceful.
Work, too was very peaceful, and after I was picked up me and Penny played in her tent while Melissa got ready for work. We all had our tea and then Melissa was out the door and Penny was covered in steak sauce. She'd been painting today, both paper and herself and so had had a bath earlier, meaning she wasn't having one tonight. It's amazing how clean you can get a baby with just baby wipes.
We sat in bed watching In The Night Garden as I'd had enough Peppa Pig for one night but Penny went hypo. She wanted to "dance" with the gang at the end of the episode. She was also insistent that the cats sat on her "knee! knee!" despite the fact they're terrified of her and she doesn't sit still long enough for that to happen anyway.
I was convinced I'd have trouble getting her to sleep, but fingers crossed she went off 10 minutes ago and I haven't heard a peep. I'm sure she'll change her mind when I decide to do whatever ever it is I decide to do later.
Just dishes tonight, then relax.
