I awoke at about 6:50am with Penny, who got into bed with us for milk and Peppa, then I showered and walked to work.
Another glorious day was spent at my desk where nothing of not was accomplished. Although, I did reserve a BBQ at Argos for £40 reduced from £90, which has an average review of 4.3 stars out of 5 and, crucially, doesn't look like it'll fall apart if a slight breeze is whipped up. I'm picking it up tomorrow and, hopefully trying it out on Saturday.
I walked home and found Penny and Oney blowing bubbles and pushing prams about, while Melissa weeded the garden. I suggested weed killer would be more effective and she immediately stopped.
After a gab with the neighbours we came inside, cooked up and ate some tea and then chucked Penny in the bath. She was filthy, covered in soil, food, ice cream and God knows what else.
Melissa's currently putting her to bed, and once she's asleep I'll be doing the dishes and going to buy some beers, as, much to my disappointment, we don't actually have any in the house. Rookie mistake. I might, however, go to Bargain Booze, as they should have cold beers, instead of the luke warm shite I'd get from (the) ASDA.
