Guess who's been sleeping in our bed? At 11:30pm, just as we were settling down, Penny woke up. We tried soothing her and putting her back down, but by almost 1am we'd had enough and so brought her in bed with us. None of us slept particularly well and we were awoken at about 7am by Penny making a break for freedom. Fortunately we grabbed her before she threw herself down the stairs.
Work was alright, in my exhaustion haze, and I walked home via (the) ASDA to procure beers and bacons.
Penny's had her tea, so have me and Melissa. She's tired, Penny is, understandably, and we're putting her down a little bit early as she can't keep her eyes open. Her three favourite words at the moment are "mummy", "mine" and "Peppa". All of these words are shouted, loudly, and often.
Melissa's got ironing to do tonight, and I've got a film to watch and beers to drink.
