Saturday.
We had a normal start, at about 7am. Penny had some milk, wandered round, played on the "pomuter" with me, we had a bit of a dance, and then just after 9:30am she had her nap and Melissa got herself ready for the day.
Once Penny was awake she had a bath and a quick shower and then I put her clothes on (her, not me) and she and Melissa headed in to Southport to see Melissa's cousin Claire and her kid Joss, Penny's little mate. They're going to a BBQ this evening, or something, and staying over. So, today I've mostly lounged around the house drinking tea, eating toast, listening to music and drinking more tea.
That is until about 4:30pm, when I got really bored, and seeing a gap in the hideous weather I high tailed it to (the) ASDA to get myself some lunch stuff for the week.
I walked home, starving, and made my tea which consisted of chicken jalfrezi and too many side dishses. Now I've eaten that I'm settling down with a bottle of wine and The Hobbit. Not a Hobbit, I'm alone, except for the cats, who will definitely leave me alone now I've fed them.
Looks like Wigan have won the FA Cup as well, which is nice for them. Well done the Wigans, or whatever it is they call them!
