Sorry for the lack of updates, they're largely boring, but they're included below for your perusal. I'm conscious that this blog used to be more about Penny, and now it's more about... Stuff. I'm not sorry about that, I just write what I feel like writing. If Penny does something interesting, and if I remember it, it'll go into the content. If not, it's about me and more boring, boring exploits.
Anyway.
Tuesday was alright. My hard drive arrived and so my evening was spent fixing my computer once Penny was in bed.
That took the best part of 5 hours, which pissed me right the fuck off, and by the time I was done I wasn't in the mood to do anything other then go to sleep.
Wednesday was better. Had a reasonable nights sleep and, after the lovely weekend, it was only a matter of time before it rained again, and that was Wednesday morning. I got a lift from Jeff and spent the day listening to people bitch and moan about the way we've been treated in the new organisational design structure. While I didn't contribute much, I agreed on most fronts. It's been a very stressful time in work, and it's not going to get much better. Hey ho.
Melissa and Penny picked me up and we went to Melissa's mum and dads for tea, then Melissa took her mums car and went to work and I took our car and drove to Liverpool to see the wonderful Daniel Kitson's latest standup show. Excellent, it was.
I came home and had a beer and went to bed. Penny and Melissa were at Mel's mum and dads.
I got up early and went to see Penny and Melissa (and drop off the car) and then Melissa's mum dropped me off at work for another 7 hours of moaning and speculation about jobs and Manchester United's new manager. Two of my favourite things.
Melissa and Penny picked me up and we went to (the) ASDA then we came home, Melissa cooked tea and me and Penny phoned my dad.
Tea was eaten and the baby was bathed. She's rather fond of the shower now, which is fun and messy in equal amounts.
This evening, once the dishes are done, I don't know what I'll do but I know at some point Melissa and I will be watching Hannibal as recorded off Sky on Tuesday night.
Friday tomorrow. How good is that?!
