We awoke to the delightful shouts of "Hey! Hey!" echoing through the house. Penny awoke at 7:17am, and the being the kind, considerate husband that I am I took her downstairs for breakfast allowing Melissa some time to lie in before work tonight.
At about 9am Penny decided she wanted a nap. Nearly an hour later she was asleep. She screamed, kicked up a fuss and just generally refused to sleep, even though it was her idea.
She awoke about 45 minutes later and pottered around, quite clearly still tired. I went to the tip and so forth, and Melissa set about cleaning the house. A little before 1, after Penny had had some lunch, we decided that 45 minutes wasn't enough, and tried to get her back to sleep for a bit before my mum and dad turned up.
45 minutes later gave up.
My mum and dad arrived and had a cup of tea, ate some biscuits and played with Penny. I regret only having one cup of tea, I'm knackered now.
Once they'd gone Melissa and I ate our tea, Penny ate nothing. Melissa abandoned us for work, the lucky cow, while Penny went on a rampage. I'm tired today, and Penny's been particularly irritating. Fortunately she went to sleep nice and easily after her bath, leaving me to break my computer. Again.
For the record, I don't and will never recommend OCZ Solid State hard drives. They're shit.
Back to work tomorrow.
