Of course, 6am it an entirely reasonable time to wake up on Saturday, so that's what we did.
At a little after 8 Melissa and Penny went to sleep and I played some Skyrim, then at about 10am Penny woke up, and we woke Melissa up and we all got ready for a wild, wild day out that included some of the following highlights :
- Stuck in traffic on the way in to Wigan because they were at home to Spurs
- Buying a shower curtain
- Lunch at The Range
- Smashing a garden ornament (and scarpering) at B&Q
- Wallpaper samples
- A cup of tea with the in laws
- (the) ASDA
Got home and I turned the tables on Penny by eating her tea, then she had some of our tea, and then she and Melissa had a bath.
Penny's hopefully heading off to sleep as I type this, and then... Are you sitting down? I'm going hell for leather with Oven Pride, and I'm emptying the cat litter. But then I'll do anything to avoid X Factor.
