And so, all hopes of a late night were shat out of the window when Penny woke up just after Melissa got home and refused to go back to sleep until after 2am.
I got a lift to work and a lift home and I remember very little of the middle bit. I do remember seeing Melissa and Penny at lunchtime. I even remember giving Penny some of my Subway cookie, so I must have been tired.
At home I fed Penny while Melissa got ready for work, then I fed myself. Penny ate my tea, too, and my yoghurt, and a stale Jaffa Cake. Just the Jaffa bit, anyway. Not the cake.
She's asleep now after her bath. Tonight I have to put the recycling out, and I have to do the dishes. But aside from that, once I've completed the Dark Brotherhood tranche of quests on Skyrim, it's bedtime.
I may not see you tomorrow as I'm going to the cinema in the evening (Iron Man 3), and as Melissa was leaving for work she mumbled something under her breath about looking after Penny's mate Harry, so I might not have time to blog before I go.
Thursday tomorrow, though, so it's not all bad.
