Day 785

Due to the watching of Broadchurch it was 1:30am before either of us got anywhere near sleep. Fortunately Penny slept in, meaning at 7:10am it was my alarm that woke me.

I walked to work, for twas truly a glorious Spring morning. That was it, really. No tyres to change today. No  post work trip to (the) ASDA. Nothing of the sort.

I did, however get home to find my tea cooked and ready to be eaten. Penny had sausage and mash, which she didn't touch. She did however chow down on some of Melissa's chicken curry. Until the spice got to her and she didn't know what was going on. Cruel? Possibly. Hilarious? Definitely.

After tea I took her out in the street to play with the local kids and their ball. She took hers out, but didn't want to play with it, she wanted to play with the heavy, leather case ball from next doors front garden. Then she just wanted to post things down the grid. We came in just as Melissa was leaving for work. Penny had a slice of garlic bread, most of my yoghurt and a Jaffa cake, she sang Row, Row, Row Your Boat down the phone for my mum, then fell into her toy kitchen. She was ok, of course, but then she dived off my lap backwards into the arm of a chair. Idiot. She was fine again, but definitely getting tired so I chucked her in the bath, clothed her, fed her and put her down to sleep.

This evening I've a handful of dishes to do, a floor to hoover, and some Skyrim to devote an unnecessary amount of time to.

Wednesday tomorrow. Already! Woo!
