Friday!
Penny slept until just before 7am. Lovely. Chances of her doing that tomorrow? Slim.
I walked to work listening to the new Daft Punk track. It's dead good. Then I listened to some of their older stuff. Also dead good.
Work was busy, in so far as I was glued to the Boston marathon bombing kerfuffle, in between rounds of the game me and Howard invented. The work side of work was pretty quiet, really.
Melissa and Penny picked me up from work and we went for a bit of a shop in New Look. Melissa needed a dress for tomorrow night. Yes, I know it's last minute. I felt it inappropriate to point that out. Anyway, we didn't find one.
Once we were home Melissa and her mum went to the Trafford Centre to look for and hopefully purchase a dress, leaving me and Penny to watch In The Night Garden before I put her to bed. She was knackered, and we didn't get to In The Night Garden, I just chucked her in the bath, gave her a bottle and put her to bed.
She woke up just in time to ruin my tea, I think she was in pain with her teeth so I gave her some Calpol and she settled after a bit. Melissa came home. Mission complete, leaving me to complete some more missions on Skyrim.
Bedtime now. Sky are coming tomorrow between 1 and 4. The man hopes to be here earlier, but couldn't make any promises. Fingers cross, anyway.
