Well, as is traditional whenever me and Melissa have something planned in the evening, Penny did her best to try and ruin it and kicked off instead of going to sleep. It was 8:15 before she nodded off, which is about 35 minutes after the Chinese arrived. We kept it warm though, and enjoyed it nevertheless. We definitely ordered too much, but we ate well.
Melissa went to bed to watch whatever and I played Skyrim until midnight.
We woke up at about 7am with Penny and she got in bed with us. The three of us dozed while kids TV blared away in the backgroud and then at about 8am I got up, made tea and toast and we slowly but surely got cracking on "the day".
Melissa's mum had decided to go to Ikea today and she invited us along. Alas, I couldn't make it. But Melissa and Penny went along, leaving me free to wander round in my pants drinking tea and playing XBOX all day. There's worse things to do on a Saturday.
They arrived home at about 5:30pm. Melissa made us bacon butties for tea and me and Penny watched some drivel on the Disney channel.
Once that was done Melissa showed off the rest of her Ikea Purchases. She appears to have bought one of everything, but it only cost her 8p or something. I dunno. I just know I have blinds to replace on the front of the house.
Penny's had her bath and is snuggled down with a bottle. I hope she goes off. I want to play some Skyrim; I've only done 5 hours today.
Melissa's got Britains Got Talent tonight, and The Voice, which should keep me away from that particular TV for some considerable time.
