Penny woke up at midnight and was awake, screaming until 3am. She ended up in our bed because she refused to settle in her own bed.
I was 45 minutes late for work because of this, and have spent the day almost nodding off.
I came home from work to find Melissa almost crippled in pain on the couch; she'd indulged in the Christmas present I bought her today... A laser teeth whitening session. And while her teeth look ace, they're a little sensitive and she's really feeling it. Coupled with both of us being knackered, it's likely to be an early night.
That would, of course, be true, if it weren't the fact that Penny is once again refusing to sleep, and is doing nothing but screaming if we try and get her to do so.
So, there we go.
I'm knackered and I'm going to attempt some Skyrim. Melissa's knackered but can't watch Sky because the viewing card is apparently goosed (engineer coming out on Saturday morning) and, further to all that, we've got a baby refusing to sleep. I foresee a long, long night.
