Tuesday (Monday). Penny slept wonderfully last night. From a little after 7pm until a little before 8am. Of course, I slept like shit, but that's beside the point.
I hobbled to work as best I could, and spent the day cleaning up the mess of the bank holiday weekend and chugging down ibuprofen which work to a certain extent.
I also swapped out Black Ops 2 for a copy of Skyrim, which could be the end of me.
I walked home, via (the) ASDA, picking up some essentials, and then quickly ate tea with Melissa and Penny before a still-not-quite-right Melissa shot off to work.
Penny, who'd been bathed earlier, watched some TV with me before I took her up to bed at her request just before 7pm. She was annoyingly reluctant to nod off at first, so we read a couple of books, and then she relented.
She's currently fast asleep (I hope) leaving me ample opportunity to do the dishes, run the hoover round and settle in to Bioshock Infinite.
