So midnight is the new 6:30am according to Penny, whose watch is clearly wrong.
She woke up screaming at midnight, just before Melissa got home from work. It was 2:30am before we were all asleep. There was nothing wrong with her, she just wanted to play. She was lying in bed with us for a bit talking shit and making silly noises and it was adorable for a while, but by 2am we just wanted sleep. Fortunately, Penny agreed it was best if we all went to bed, and so we all got about 5 hours sleep.
She woke just after 7am.
I got a lift to work due to exhaustion and spent the day fighting off sleep and making and drinking tea.
I left at 3:30pm, much to the dismay of my colleagues, and met Melissa and Penny at (the) ASDA where Penny wanted one of everything and I just wanted walnuts. We got all we needed and headed home.
Penny had had about a 20 minute nap all day and was particularly disagreeable, but the good news is : she's got her appetite back and has been eating for most of the day.
Melissa left for work and I bathed Penny then we watched some In The Night Garden and then she went to sleep. Good as gold. I then set to work on making chocolate fudge cake slices for a charity bake sale in work tomorrow. They're delicious, probably. I'll attach a picture tomorrow. If there's any left.
Now, I'm going to play me some Bioshock Infinite before I fall asleep.
