Saturday. I was up early, of course, with Penny. Melissa chose this morning for a lie in, so Penny and I went downstairs and absolutely trashed the playroom. She had her porridge, then had a shit, and we went upstairs to wake mummy up.
Then we pottered round, all three of us, getting ready for the day.
Once we were ready we headed in to Liverpool to meet Lea and Hannah for lunch to celebrate Lea's birthday. They brought Dylan, their son, with them and he was good as gold. Penny was good as gold too, in her own way. Loud, demanding, but always very polite.
We went for a walk afterwards, she tried to catch a seagull. Then we had a coffee in Costa, while she flirted with the men.
Once we'd bade Lea, Hannah and Dylan farewell we did a spot of shopping then headed home. We thought Penny might sleep in the car. She didn't. So we took her to see Mel's mum and dad who had Penny's cousin Amelia staying over. The two of them trashed the place, then had their tea, then we brought our one home and chucked her in the bath.
She's asleep now. Thankfully. I'm not sure what fun and games we've got planned for this evening, but I'm considering not playing Minecraft, as last night, when I died, I was close to tears. I think I'm getting too involved.
