I was called out over night for work, but only needed for 40 minutes. Of course, I couldn't get back to sleep, so when my alarm went off 3 hours later I was rather reluctant to get up.
Ellen gave me a lift again, in the snow. My back/leg is a bit better today though, so fingers crossed I can run that marathon at the weekend.
Work was, once again, rather hectic and it was nice to be kept busy.
I bought the requisite ingredients for a stir fry at lunch time, and then, at 4pm, I got a lift home, through the driving sleet, and prepared tea for the 3 of us.
Penny ate well and heartily, and then Melissa went to work leaving me and Penny to play. She'd had a bath earlier in the day so there was no need for that this evening, so we just played in her room until just before 7 at which point I gave her a bottle and she nodded off.
Now it's time for me to do the dishes, hoover, and dig a mine.
See you tomorrow!
