Good evening.
Yesterday, Friday, saw me finish work at 11:30am. I was in Wallasey by 2:30pm, thanks to the North West rail network. I met John and we walked to (the) ASDA, which was a disappointment. Nothing like our (the) ASDA. Cramped, smaller selection. I felt claustrophobic at times, but we bought pizza and beer and... Well, job done.
We went to my mum and dads house, had a cuppa and watched some TV and then headed over to Liverpool for "The Australian Pinl Floyd Show". And very good it was too.
We headed back to my mum and dads afterwards for some beers and more TV and before we knew it, it was 3am. I kicked John out and get in to bed, trying to avoid freezing to death.
I slept until 10am and then got up, got ready and headed to Kirkby to meet Melissa and Penny. Of course, the North West Rail Network only let me go as far as Aintree, where they wanted me to get on a bus to Kirkby. I was having none of it and Melissa came and collected me.
Then we were off to Space World in Prescott for Henry's second birthday party. I'm glad I wasn't too hungover, it was loud. Everyone had a good time, so thank to Matt, Nic, and of course Henry.
We headed home via our (the) ASDA, just to remind myself how much better it was. We bought some tea, too.
At home I cooked tea while Melissa gave Penny a bath, then we all ate tea, and I put Penny to bed.
She's started talking even more gibberish. Her latest nonsense is "abadabas" and derivatives. She had birthday cake before bed. Definitely a mistake.
The Soundcloud clip above is a song two of my good friends have made together. I wouldn't normally share media, or whatever, just for the sake of it, but I really like the song, and I think you might too. So give it a listen, let me (or John, or Howard) know what you think.
Sunday tomorrow. A day of rest. I'm pretty confident that won't ring true for us.
