Despite an excellent sleep, I'm still tired today. We got the usual 6:30am wakeup call from Penny, and then t 7am I got up and walked to work. It's warmed up considerably, but it's still cold, and this morning, blowy.
Work was alright, as usual. I took solace in the fact it was Thursday, meaning tomorrow would be Friday. I walked home after 4pm and found Penny, once again, being a little menace. Fortunately, nanny had agreed to have her this evening, giving me and Melissa the evening to clean the house, watch a film together and get a good nights sleep. A true luxury these days.
We had tea, and then while Melissa was dropping off Penny at her mum and dads, I cleaned the kitchen and played silly beggars with helium balloons, then Melissa came home, had a shower, and went to watch Hollyoaks.
Once she's finished we're watching a film and then come hell or high water, I'm going to sleep. I feel a cold coming on, and I don't want that to ruin my weekend.
