Penny was awake, as usual, at about 11pm. She, somewhat unusually, going mental for our smallest cat. We brought her in bed with us, to calm her down and give her some milk, as she was in no state to go back to sleep, then a little after midnight Melissa put her down with minimal fuss and we didn't hear from her again until about 9am. Which annoyed me. I bet she doesn't sleep in tonight...
I walked to work. It was cold. We had a busy morning, too, which I quite enjoyed. Then, at lunchtime, I walked to (the) ASDA with Howard, Pete and Helen to pick up my new mouse. It's excellent, and has solved a problem that's been pissing me off for quite some time.
I walked home and found Penny stood in the kitchen, helping Melissa bake a potato.
She's been much better today (Penny) eating, much less clingy, and her general demeanour is greatly improved. She's still not 100% but she's getting there. What she ate today was a feast compared to what she's had over the past few days. She's also very independent and likes to try and feed herself. And the couch.
After her tea she did some colouring in of some Minnie Mouse pictures, her play tent, her face and the cat, then I bathed her and put her to bed while Melissa got ready for "bootcamp" which is apparently NOT a club for women addicted to shoes.
This evening I'm hoping to watch an Indonesian film called Serbuan maut (The Raid). This weekend we have no treats planned, but I am hoping to get my shelves built. So, fingers crossed. It all depends on how Penny is.
Have a great weekend!
