Day 694

A lovely early start was just what none of us wanted. A shame, then, that Penny decided 6am was late enough to be considered a lie in.

Fucking Ballamory.

I walked to work with Ellen, the snow was still thick in places, but our main concern was the ice, which was more prevalent on the way home due to a bit of a thaw today.

Work was alright busy at times, but then not so busy at other times.

I walked home with Ellen, her husband Andrew and their dog Barry, all of us almost falling over at least once each.

Melissa had made butternut squash for tea which was very nice. Penny joined in with mine, as well as eating her own tea.

I kept her up a bit later than usual, as she'd had a nap this afternoon. I bathed her, fed her, and put her down. Of course, she's still wide awake and whinging away. I'm currently ignoring her, but I expect she's chucked her dummy on the floor.

She's scuppered any plans I might have had to watch a film tonight, but I'll still find time to squeeze in the dishes.

See you tomorrow!
