No blog yesterday due to a late-ish night. I remember very little about the day, really, except that at about 5:45pm Howard, Stew and Dave turned up and we drove to Manchester to see The Hobbit in 3D IMAX HFR. Which basically means it's visually the most incredible thing I've ever seen in the cinema. It was a pretty decent movie too. Slightly long, but the time really did fly by.
I got home at around 11pm, Penny was fast asleep. I made the mistake of going in to check on her and she woke up. We were done then, until 1am, when she finally went back off.
As a consequence I was mostly knackered for the day, but it was the last full day before Christmas, so it wasn't too bad. There was sandwiches, pork pies, cake and, to top it all off, Penny came to see me. With Melissa, obviously.
I walked home and found Melissa and Penny snuggled up on the couch. Penny seemed a little out of sorts, but we're not sure if she's ill at all, or just teething, or tired, or tired and teething. She was fine this afternoon, except maybe a little clingy. Who knows. She's had an early night, either way.
Melissa's gone to (the) ASDA in Wigan to do some shopping. She's insane. I'm going to have a beer and watch some TV while I await her return.
Have a great weekend!
