Melissa and I watched Stardust last night. Penny insisted on joining us for the last 5 minutes. After that we showed her The Snowman, for which she went mental.
Of course, she was then wide awake until 1am, when we had to fight her to sleep. We think a combination of teeth and belly ache kept her awake.
Anyway, I obviously leapt out of bed at 7:20am, showered, clothed myself and went to work.
Work was interesting today. Peaks and troughs of business and boringness. Howard brought me my secret Santa present, which was a lovely selection of real ales which I intend to sup on in the coming weeks.
I met Melissa and Penny in Iceland (the discount frozen food retailer, not the country) at 4pm where we purchased and abundance of party food for sampling over the festive period, and of course, for tea tonight. They were all good, except the ribs, which were a little (very) over done. Fortunately there's some more, so we can try again.
At 6pm I took Penny up for her bath while Melissa sneaked out to see her friend. All was going well until, as I picked Penny up to start he bottle off, she realised I wasn't Melissa and screamed a bit. Fortunately she was knackered and it didn't last long. She drank her bottle and nodded off.
Now it's time for chores, Call of Duty and beer in roughly that order.
7 sleeps. Is that right? Does it matter? See you tomorrow.
