I got up at about 7:20am, showered, dressed (quietly) and walked to work. It was a brilliant morning. Thick frost on the ground, bitterly cold, and beautifully clear. My favourite kind of morning.
Work was, for the most part, nightmarish. We were much busier than we should have been for a Friday and I was glad for my lunch break. Then, at 1pm it was back into the fray. 4pm couldn't get here quick enough.

I walked to (the) ASDA to meet Melissa and Penny and when I got there I found it was, to all intents and purposes, closed. The tills had crashed and they weren't letting anyone in, nor were they letting anyone out (with shopping, anyway) and so we went to the chemist to pick up Penny more Calpol.
Home, then and I was up a ladder into the loft to extract the Christmas decorations. We're (Melissa's) putting up the tree later tonight, to surprise Penny in the morning.
I noticed a small amount of condensation in the loft space, and a cursory glace of "the internet" suggests it's because the loft hatch isn't properly (isn't at all) insulated. Fortunately nothing appeared to be damaged, just a bit damp. I'll pop into B&Q tomorrow and see if I can find anything I can use to insulate it a bit better.
Right.
Penny's snuffly and tired and teething. She's dosed up on ibuprofen and the stench of Karvol is emanating from her room nicely. Melissa's putting her to bed and soon I hope to head out to collect some Chinese food. Then I will avoid Melissa for as long as she's putting up the Christmas tree as that's not my domain at all.
Have a great weekend everyone, I'll be back tomorrow.
Bye!
