Thursday. The weekend is nearly here. I can almost taste. Penny decided 6:10am was when she wanted to get up. She didn't want to snuggle, she wanted to bounce around our bed, and just generally be mischievous. But I got a kiss off her before work, so that made up for everything.
Had a pretty busy day and walked home at 4pm to a house that smelled of cottage pie. It tasted as good as it smelled. Even Penny had someone.
Once we'd finished tea we watched Penny bounce around like a maniac, dancing, singing, shouting, and then, when I'd have enough I escaped to Pets At Home for cat litter and (the) ASDA for milk.
I came home (via my father in laws for some venison pie and half a rhubarb pie) to a calm, serene, quiet house, stacked the dishwasher, fed and cleaned out the cats, and began to relax. Then I realised I had to write this, which I'm doing now.
Soon I will eat the aforementioned rhubarb pie, drink a beer and DEFINITELY watch a film this evening.
There may or may not be a blog tomorrow, depending if I get a second.
Either way, here's Penny dancing to Gangnam Style :
