All 5 of us slept well, and Penny didn't stir until 7:15am (not including a minor close call at 1:15am) and up we got.
I took Penny downstairs and left Melissa to have a short lie in as she wasn't feeling too well, and then, when Penny tried to do a back flip off her caterpillar (hilarious) I took her up to wake Melissa up with the girls from Devon.
Once Melissa was up I kept out the way for a bit, and then tried to put Penny down for her nap. She was having none of it. Melissa eventually subdued her and she was out for an hour before we callously woke her up and dragged her round the Concourse and then round Wigan. Poor cow.

We came home then, and I left Melissa, Penny and the girls at Melissa's mums for Halloweeny stuff. I came home to guard the house for malevolent spirits and trick or treaters (5 groups at the point of writing this; I've run out of sweets).
My evening will involve Pizza, beer/wine/Scotch/combination of all 3 and a film. And hopefully no more trick or treaters. I spoke too soon. I finished that sentence and there was an apocalyptic hammering on the door. I had to go and apologise there was no more sweets, in the hope that they didn't torch the house.
I may be back tomorrow... "Happy" Halloween!
