A restless night, followed by an early morning wakeup call from Penny at about 6:45am. Fantastic.
I got up, showered and walked to work. Another lovely morning, and distinctly lighter than it has been thanks for to the end of British summer time.
I killed time at work, waiting for my 11:30am early dart and that was me for the week. Score.
I met Melissa, Penny, our Devonese guests and my father in law in the Concourse and we headed home. Penny had her lunch, and then Melissa took her and the girls shopping. I opted out and sat on the couch and caught up with some TV shows I'd been neglecting.
They came home, there was a minor whirlwind of activity and then it was just Melissa, Penny and me.
We had tea, Penny went mental over In The Night Garden and then it was time for her bath. She'd only had a 30 minute kip this afternoon, so keeping her awake, and not screamy was a chore. I bathed her while Melissa hoovered, then I put her to bed. She was knackered. I anticipate another early morning wakeup call.
This evening I think Melissa and I are watching some TV and having a drink.
