Another good night from Penny. I woke up convinced it was Saturday, furious at my alarm clock for going off. Once I'd calmed down I got up, showered and got a lift to work, more due to laziness than anything.
Work was alright. I went shopping at lunch for the last few parts of my Halloween costume, but ended up not buying anything.
I finished at 3pm, due to hanging round until 5pm earlier in the week and Melissa picked me up with Penny, who was asleep. We carted her inside, keeping her asleep, and she slept for about 30 minutes. She was exhausted, having been awake since 8am.
Melissa and I tidied the house (mainly Melissa, actually) and then Penny woke up. I fed her, amused her, then Melissa bathed her and we tried to get her to sleep before Lea and Hannah arrived.
It didn't work. She was wide awake. We chatted to Lea and Hannah, admired baby Dylan, and ordered Pizza. Me and Lea watched Red Dwarf while the women talked nappies or whatever.
I eventually got Penny to sleep at about 9pm, shortly before Lea and Hannah left. They took Dylan with them, obviously. I bet Penny wakes up at like 6am or something obscene.
Anywho, we've had a nice evening and I'm looking forward to getting in to bed soon and sleeping.
