Wednesday - It probably rained this morning. I got a lift to work with Ellen after an excellent nights sleep from Penny who apparently woke up just as I was leaving for work.
Work was, for the most part, uneventful. I got a phone call just before I left for the day which could have meant me staying behind for a bit. But I managed to dodge that bullet like Neo.
Melissa picked me up, we popped in to (the) ASDA for some stuff, then home. I fed Penny, Melissa did the washing. Penny now has 4 more teeth, all of which came through at the same time. All on the top, and all apparently in a nice neat line. She made short work of her fish fingers and smiley faces.
Once she'd eaten we played for a bit and then set her loose to burn off some energy. Afterwards, we chucked her in the bath and I left them both to it.
Off in to Liverpool I drove to meet my dad for his proper birthday present. We had some tea and then we went to FACT to see the new Led Zeppelin live concert thing that's out in DVD in a few weeks. It was very excellent and we had a great time.
I was shattered though, by the time I got home, at about 12:20am. Out like a light I went.
Thursday. Ellen deliberately ignored me while I was waiting for a lift which meant I had to walk in to work. I wasn't complaining though, it was a lovely autumnal morning.
Work was busy in the morning and a little less busy in the afternoon. Melissa and Penny picked me up and we went up in to Ormskirk so Melissa could browse Halloween costumes. Me and Penny played with the masks while Melissa got quietly annoyed that she couldn't find anything she liked, but then she found something and she was happy.
We went to show her mum the outfit and she forced us to stay for tea, then we came home, I went to (the) ASDA for milk and baby wipes. Melissa's feeding Penny, I'm writing this. Soon I will watch some TV while Melissa does... I don't know. X Factor USA is on tonight I think.
Friday tomorrow. How exciting?
