Sunday.
After an initial struggle, Penny went to sleep just in time for the X Factor. I didn't watch it all, as I was reading my book.
She woke up a little after 7am but she'd had a rough night. We think the cold's coming out of her as she's been all snotty and chesty.
Anyway, she decided to not bother we her normal morning nap and stayed awake until after 1pm. She was fucking shattered. We spent our morning looking for fancy dress costumes, and our afternoon with my mum and dad, having a belated lunch for my dad's birthday. Noms. Penny was trying to make friends with the little girl at the table next to us with her limited vocabulary of "hiya!". She finally nodded off after her lunch and we got about 30 minutes or so out of her. She missed the Disney store, she was gutted about that. She woke up in the train station when the man in the lift (computer) announced we were at the "NORTHERN LINE" platform.
We headed home, then, popping in on Penny's cousin Amelia to say "happy birthday".
Then at home, we fed Penny, Melissa left for work and I put Penny in the bath. After her bath, just before 6pm, I brought her downstairs to watched Ultimate Spider-man and she fell asleep in my arms. Aww.
I took her back upstairs, gave her some Calpol and some milk and chucked her in bed. Then I made my tea, ate it, and put off doing the few chores I've been tasked with this evening.
Back to work tomorrow. I think it might be a busy one, so I'll try and get an early night and hope for a quiet one, too.
Bye!
