Poor little mite's not well. We think she's caught a cold off her cousin, and her teeth seem to really be bothering her. I say teeth... There's still only 2 of them. No more than about 5 months ago or whatever. They're taking their time.
Anyway, she was restless all night, until 2am, and then she woke up at about 6:20am but just wanted to snuggle so we brought her in bed with us and she obviously managed to take up all the space.
I was forced out of bed at 7:20am or so, and walked to work, where I worked hard until about 4pm, at which point I walked home.
I came home to find a poorly Penny sitting on an exhausted Melissa's knee in room that looked like a hurricane had passed through it. I also found a small black and white cat mewling like there was no tomorrow. Yes. It's that time of year. Bella is in heat again. I swear if she wasn't so adorable I'd remove her ovaries with my bare hands.
Penny had been bathed so all that needed to be done was to feed her which Melissa did while I got changed. Then, Melissa got ready for work and I amused Penny with some witty one liners and prat falls. Once this wore thin (very quickly) I changed tack, and her nappy, and then Melissa left for work.
Penny and me watched Pointless (they're up to £11,500 now) and a bit of Batman of the Future, and then I put her to bed.
I'm braced for a rough night as she's clearly under the weather. I've got food to eat, recycling to put out, and a hurricane to clean up from.
See you tomorrow!
