Friday.
We were awoken just before 6am. We thought she might nod off again, but alas it was not to be. She wanted Balamory and she wanted it NOW! I put Justin's House on instead, though, as Balamory is legitimately rubbish.
A little after 7am I got up, showered and walked to work. Another lovely autumnal morning. No rain, crucially.
Work was rather hectic today. Busy, even. But I'm not complaining. It was a good day. I drank probably too much coffee, meaning I'll have to drink some alcohol tonight to take the edge off. Shame.
I walked home at 4pm and found the house empty. There was apparently confusion over a message Melissa had send me which read "I'll leave her here" referring to Penny. Melissa had an appointment and so was leaving Penny with her mum for a bit. However, I thought "here" was our house, so when I got home to an empty house, with a missing pram, daughter and mother-in-law, there was a mild panic. I phoned my mother in law at her house and the mild panic was averted. "Here" was "there". Phew.
Anywho, I mooched about, all lonely and dejected until about 6pm when Melissa and Penny arrived home. We played in the playroom for a bit, and at 7pm we chucked her in the bath.
Melissa's currently bottling her and soon we will (hopefully) relax and potentially catch up with The Great British Bake Off and the Colonel.
