Penny went to sleep last night after a minor struggle. We didn't hear from her until 5am or so. We brought her in bed with us and we all dozed until 7am. She wasn't happy though. We gave her some water and she drank like she'd never drank before. Then she nodded off a bit. And then she screamed a bit. Then she burped a bit and nodded off.
I went to work and left Melissa and a very unhappy Penny half asleep in bed.
According to Melissa they got up at about 8:30am, but Penny was not herself. Drowsy, listless and just generally a bit shitty and wanting to sleep loads. She took her to the walk in centre later in the afternoon, by which point she'd perked up a bit. She was checked over from head to toe and the doctor suggested it was possible all her symptoms could be relating to her teeth (finally) coming through, and to keep her fluids up and generally keep an eye on her.
Melissa brought her to pick me up from work. She was asleep in the car and Melissa told me the above tale, then we got home and took her inside the house. She perked up considerably and was happy to play on the floor with me. I took her for a bit of a walk, until my back gave up, and then we gave her some tea. She wasn't keen on the waffle, or the vegetable fingers, but we opened a jar of her spag bol and she wolfed that down and continued playing and drinking her water.
I nipped to (the) ASDA and then we bathed her and put her to bed. She's not keen on drinking her milk or her water and the doctor said it looked like her throat was a bit red, so we think she might have a bit of a sore throat, but fingers crossed, she's looking a lot better this evening than she did this morning.
