Penny slept well again last night, thankfully, and at 6:55am she was still in her own bed. I got up, showered and left Melissa and Penny to sleep in while Ellen gave me a lift to work.
Work was a little busier than yesterday, and the day didn't drag as much. Some fresh air and a coffee at lunchtime helped.
Got the lovely news that my mate Lea and his fiancée Hannah finally had their baby today, only 13 days late. Little baby Dylan. Congratulations guys. Look forward to meeting him.
Aside from that, yeah, work. Melissa and Penny picked me up from work and, while Melissa had a shower I fed Penny, then we bathed her and Melissa left and me and Penny watched Master Chef (we're up to scratch now) and played with her toys.
At 7pm it was clear that Penny was knackered so I gave her a bottle and she dozed off. Nice and easy.
Then, I spoke to my parents before getting my tea ready.
What you see above, ladies and gentlemen, is 100% organic rabbit pie. Scottish rabbits shot by my father in law, the pie encasing them made by my mother in law, and the creamy mustard mash underneath made by me (with the masher my brother and his fiancée bought us several year ago). It was absolutely delicious, mainly because I was ravenous, but also, because it was actually delicious. The mash was the best bet, I think.
Now, as I can't really move, I'm going to watch TV until I can move, at which point I'll be getting in to bed.
