For a change, genuinely this time, not sarcastic like yesterday, Penny slept through until 6am, save for a couple of dummy related issues. Result.
I've been on my own for most of the day as Melissa took Penny to see Mickey and Minnie's Magic show in Liverpool with aunty Claire and cousin Joss. This left me free to sit round in my pants for an hour, eating porridge, drinking tea and watch TV.
When there was nothing left to watch I got clothed and went outside to paint a fence. Once that was painted, I got back down to my pants, ate some macaroni cheese and watched some more TV. Then I went back outside (clothed once again) to spread some bark and string up some swings. Pictures tomorrow.
Melissa picked me up on the way home and went to see her mum who's alone this weekend as Melissa's dad is up in Scotland killing stuff.
We came home, then, did a bit of gardening while Penny tried out her swing (great success, pictures tomorrow) and the we checked her in the bath.
This evening, X Factor for Melissa, a movie for me. Along with a beer or two.
