Penny slept really well, despite refusing her porridge, and woke up at about 5:30am. Melissa gave her a bottle and she got into bed with us. She nodded off at about 6:30am.
I got a lift to work due to torrential rain and had a quiet day compared to yesterday.
Melissa picked me up at 4pm and we came home. I attempted to feed Penny but she wasn't interested. Melissa took over, then she had a shower and we bathed Penny together before Melissa left for work.
Penny and I played for an hour or so, then the same thing happened as yesterday; she was nodding off in her chair, refused to eat her porridge etc. I brought her upstairs for her bottle and she drank a lot more than yesterday, feeding herself for the most part. When she wasn't nodding off, anyway. I put her down and she went straight to sleep allowing me to get on with my many and varied chores.
Once they were completed I made myself some tea (8pm... ridiculous) and watched some TV. Afterwards, I cleaned my mess up and came to write this.
I'm going to watch some more TV, then read some of my book, then get into bed.
Tomorrow evening I'll be baking a cheesecake. Hold tight for some photos of that, mofos.
