Friday. We slept well, as usual. Penny woke at about 6am and played in bed for a bit, then I made her up a bottle and Melissa fed her while I made my lunch. Then nanny arrived and we hastily got ready for work.
Work was, for the most part, as usual uneventful and at 4:30pm I met Melissa and we went to wait for our life. There had been a minor clerical error meaning there was no room for me in the car, so I set out to walk and was joined by my nieces Maggie and Gracie. I suggested that as they were willing to walk I could get a lift, but apparently that would be inappropriate. So on we walked.
The girls are staying with us tonight, and have been to (the) ASDA for munchies and stuff. I'll be showing them a film later, of my choosing. They will like it or lump it. I might go for Cinderella. Or Pirates in an Adventure With Scientists. Or The Evil Dead. I've not decided yet.
Right now they're helping Melissa bath Penny while I write this. Soon I will make up Penny's supper, then we will have tea, then it will be time for beer.
