Wednesday was, by and large, uneventful.
Until hometime came around. We spent some time with Penny and bundled her off with nanny and the girls so Melissa and I could indulge in "date night" as the Americans like to call it.
We went to The Phoenix all-you-can-ate Chinese buffet in Wigan, where we both did indeed eat all we could eat. Then we went to Empire Cinemas for my 4th, Melissa's 1st encounter with The Dark Knight Rises. We both enjoyed it, with Melissa proclaiming it was "brilliant" as we left the cinema. I was a happy man.
We went home, then, and slept. And slept, and slept. Nothing beats a good old fashioned kip. We awoke to Melissa's alarm and then it was time to go to work.
That brings us to Thursday. The penultimate day of the week, and Melissa's penultimate day of training. Work was for the most part uneventful, as is often the way.
We got home to find my PC was refusing to power up. I say "we" it was me who found that. Melissa couldn't care less. Penny? Doesn't even know what a PC is. I think the PSU is goosed, anyway, so I'm going to have to see if I can find a nice cheap one to sort me out. Annoying, though.
This evening, due to lack of PC and motivation to watch any more films, I'm hoping to XBOX with Howard.
