6:10am. The porridge seems to fill her up enough to keep her asleep until about 6am. A shame, then, that this evening we had no porridge left. I gave her some toast. We'll see what happens.
We left for work early as Melissa wanted to go through the drive thru at McDonalds for coffee, and I'm not one to argue where coffee is concerned.
Work was alright, not particularly eventful or exciting. I met Melissa, Penny and nanny at lunch time again but only briefly as I was on a mission to find a picture frame. I failed to find one of the appropriate size for an appropriate price. The search continues.
Back to work for to watch the clock tick by, and soon enough it was 5am and Melissa was there to pick em up. She'd finished a little early today to pick up banners and balloons for tomorrow. I wasn't interested in that at all, so I opted to stay at work.
As soon as we got home I was set to work sticking banners and balloons to the front of the house while Melissa bathed Penny. Once we had both finished out respective chores Melissa left me and Penny to watch TV and play with a balloon while she went to see a friend.
Time ticked on and soon enough it was time for the aforementioned toast and her bedtime bottle. I put her to sleep, relatively easily, and then set about my further chores including hoovering, and generally tidying up. I've no idea where Melissa is or when she'll be back, but she better bring home some food as I'm absolutely starving.
This evening I expect Melissa'll be wrapping presents while I stay out the way, and then hopefully an early night will precede a busy day tomorrow. For those of you who're not keeping track, it's Penny's first birthday tomorrow. I may not blog tomorrow or Saturday, but expect pictures and a super-mega-hyper blog on Sunday.
In case I'm not here tomorrow, have a great weekend and I'll see you Sunday!
