4am was when Penny decided to wake up. It was 6am before she went back to sleep. We've surmised that she's hungry, which is why she's waking up. We gave her a bottle and she went straight back off. Fun.
Work was ok. A full shift. It really dragged. Nothing more to report. Melissa bought me a Wispa and a cookie. I'm going to miss her when she goes back on to night shifts.
Nanny picked us up from work with a sleepy baby in the back of the car. She apparently hadn't slept all day, except for about an hour in the morning. She'd been well behaved though, and there were no complaints.
She'd had her tea so we just needed to amuse her for a few hours before putting her to bed. She was bathed and fed. We gave her a side dish of porridge before her bottle to see if she makes it through the night without waking up at some God forsaken hour.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some gammon to au gratin and some baked beans to le cook.
