One costly phonecall later and I'd booked an appointment with a BT engineer to come and fix the phoneline on Saturday (this) morning. Hence, no bloggage.
There's not been much to report, fortunately. Work has been uneventful as we've mostly been watching the Olympics. I managed to drive to City Link in Haydock and back without getting lost, and without a map. Thursday evening I met my dad in Liverpool and we watch The Dark Knight Rises. I enjoyed it, again. He enjoyed it too.
Friday evening saw us watching the Olympics and I finally got to test drive our new TV with a decent movie.
We had an earlyish night. Penny's getting over her cold and has been sleeping quite well. Except for Thursday, when she didn't go to sleep until 10pm. The dentist has checked her teeth and said they're fine, thankfully.
This morning, Saturday, BT came to fix the phone ("I love these easy jobs", said the man, shortly before he realised it wasn't an easy job, and he'd be here for a lot longer than anticipated) then Melissa put a cranky Penny to sleep for a bit.I don't know how long it'll last. We're expecting a Sky engineer at some point to fiddle with one of the Sky boxes.
Once he's been and gone I'm off in to Liverpool to meet Stew, Lea and John for a few drinks and a Curry, and then, before long it'll be Sunday.
Have a great weekend everyone. Here's a picture of Penny enjoyed the Olympics on our new TV.
