Tuesday, not Wednesday as my dad thought. Penny woke up a little after 6am. She appears to be making a habit of this. It's quite annoying.
Work was quiet again, which was good. Spent most of the afternoon watching the Olympics and responding to emails.
I walked home in the drizzle and caught Penny eating garlic bread. She loves the stuff. Then she had... I don't know, something else. And then it was bath time. Melissa bathed her while I finished cooking tea, which we then ate while Penny sat in her jumperoo watching the Olympic gymnastics and shouting.
Then it was time for Melissa to go to work, so I amused Penny for a bit. She rolled about in her ball pool, used her walker to try and walk, trying to mess up the AV receiver, tried to escape to the kitchen and just tormented me in general, and then it was time for her bottle and bed.
As has become tradition we sat on the couch while she drank her bottle and I watched Wonder Pets and then I put her down. She fell straight asleep as she's still refusing to nap for longer than about 10 minutes during the day.
This evening I'm going to tidy the cables behind the TV as the Sky engineer who came the other day said they were a mess. I've already removed some cables that are surplus to requirements, and bunged the extra holes in the wall up with that sealant stuff you put round your bath. Now my hands are sticky, and no amount of scrubbing will unsticky them.
