Thursday. I was woken by the rain, then Penny, then my alarm in that order. Melissa soon followed suit when I went into Penny's room to find her stood up in her crib, grinning. I liberated her and unceremoniously dumped her with Melissa then had a shower, but not before I txt Jeff asking him for a lift.
At 7:55am I was stood on the front step, gradually coming to the realisation that Jeff wasn't coming to get me, and, 10 minutes later, when I was almost at work, he phoned me to tell me as much. Fortunately the rain had almost stopped, so I wasn't too damp.
Work was alright. I had a handful of meetings which made the day zip by. Tomorrow I've got just one meeting. But it's 3 hours long. I'm not looking forward to that...
I walked home from work and Melissa and Penny arrived shortly after me with shopping. I helped unload the car while Melissa fed Penny some sort of curry thing. She loved it. Not a fan of the kidney bean looking things though.
I cooked up a storm for tea for me and Melissa and we watched Catchphrase while Penny bounced around in her newly highered Jumperoo, then it was time for her bath and bottle and bed. She's fast learning to tantrum. It's hilarious. She throws her head back and screeches like a wounded bonobo.
This evening : Relax.
Tomorrow : Friday.
