Today is Wednesday. Penny woke up at 4:30am. She didn't go back to sleep until 5:45am. My alarm didn't go off. Melissa woke me up at 7:30am. I was late for work. And very, very tired.
Despite that, work wasn't too bad. I bought coffee and cookies for our monthly team meeting. The coffee was for me. The cookies were also for me, but I couldn't eat all twelve so shared them out.
I had another meeting after lunch which really helped to break up the day. I also had another coffee, which helped keep me on my feet.
I walked home, fed Penny while Melissa cooked our tea, then we ate our tea and I bathed Penny while Melissa got ready for work.
Once she'd gone it was time for me and Penny to play. I watched Jake and the Neverland Pirates while Penny beat the shit out of something with a plastic bottle full of rice, and the I made her bottle up. She drank it while I watched Wonder Pets. I found myself nodding off at this point, which wasn't good.
Once Wonder Pets was finished I put Penny to bed, nearer 7pm than yesterday, and then in lieu of my mum, my wife, or my mother in law I was forced to iron my own shirt. I ask you. Tsk.
It turned out OK though, and I didn't burn myself or the shirt too badly.
Now it's time to do the dishes, put the bin out and watch TV until I decide I need to go to sleep.
