Day 513

I tried to wait up for Melissa last night but was too tired. She woke me up when she got in, just after midnight. She woke me up to see if I was asleep. If I'd done that to her... Anyway. She wont do it again.

Penny woke up at 5:30am, which was nice. She was wide awake and so I got her out of bed and took her downstairs to watch some Wonder Pets and then the end of Deal Or No Deal. By this point she was nodding off, and so I put her back to bed. It was 6:30. I got back into bed and dozed until 7am, when my alarm went off, and then I made my way to work in a daze.

Work was ok. I thought I broke my phone. I hadn't. It was too hot in the office, as it always is when the temperature reaches about 3 degrees.

Anyway, 4pm came and Penny and Melissa picked me up from work and brought me home. We fed Penny and chucked her in the bath, then I amused her for a bit while Melissa got ready for work.

In my care this evening, she has mostly spewed up the strawberry Cornetto she had earlier. Who give a lactose intolerant child ice cream? I mean really. She does love them though... And she's also bumped both the front and back of her heads. The back she did by falling over whilst trying to climb round the couch. The front she bonked by crawling into the oven door. I think she thought there was another baby in there.

Anyway, I gave her her bottle and put her to bed. Then cooked myself some pasta and garlic bread. Now I'm writing this. I have dishes to do, and a kitchen to clean, and then after that I'm taking it easy.
