Once again we were all awake by 6:30am. Penny was a proper cow last night and wouldn't settle. We think a combination of belly ache, teething pain and the heat. Still, very frustrating. I mean, we could see she was tired, and she definitely was, but she just wouldn't settle. We got her sorted in the end though. Thankfully.
Work was good today. Quiet enough to not stress me our but busy enough to keep my occupied.
I met Melissa and Penny after work, in the car, and we came home. Melissa fed Penny while I cooked us some tea, and then we all played in the living room. We managed to convince Penny to pull herself round the couch. She's pretty good at it. She's still very loud and shouty, but also very rough and climby. Fun, fun, fun.
Once we'd tired her out sufficiently we bathed her and fed her and put her to bed then Melissa nipped to (the) ASDA, leaving me in charge of Penny.
I did well. I managed to get her to go to sleep (eventually) and touch wood, she's still asleep now. Melissa should be bringing me home some sweet, sweet beer as a reward and then it's probably going to be XBOX followed my Louie.
Melissa best be doing some ironing. That's all I'm saying.
