Day 484 and 485

Apologies for lack of blog yesterday, dear readers. I was otherwise engaged. I'll get to that later.

So it was your standard Tuesday, really. Work was once again quite busy, but not unmanageable and by 4pm I was ready to go home. Fortunately, Melissa was there to collect me with Penny and we went home. Melissa fed Penny, then herself, and I got changed and ready to go out. Penny sensed my departure and spewed her hoop all over me, so I had to change, but then, in my second choice tshirt, I was ready and wating for Howard to arrive.

And so we went to the pub quiz at the Hop Vine in Burscough. We came an impressive third, and if I'd listened to myself instead of Howard on a couple of the answers I'm pretty sure we'd have won.

Nevermind, such is life.

Taxi home, and into bed. I'd missed Geordie Shore, fortunately. And so that was Tuesday.

Wednesday was similar, except I awoke with the mild fuzz of a hangover, nothing I couldn't handle though. Penny woke us up just before 7am, and was, as usually in a great mood.

I walked to work, in a jacket that I wouldn't need later in the day, and was once again moderately busy all day.

I walked home mainly via footpaths and dog shit, and will shortly be going to (the) ASDA to collect a new pair of shoes, due to my other ones being completely written off. That is of course once Penny's bottled and fed. We've been to the in laws to see my mother in laws new car and to eat lasagne. Penny's had a late one tonight, but she's still in a reasonable mood.

It's a warm, sticky evening, and there's no sign of rain so I'm anticipating an uncomfortable night.

Still, I've got a new episode of Alan Partridge to watch, so it's not all bad.

See you tomorrow!
