I was late for work today. Penny wouldn't go to sleep last night, and it was about 8pm before she nodded off. We didn't hear from her again until 6am, Melissa got up and put her dummy back in and we all nodded off. I ignored my alarm and was consequently late for work. Sue me.
Work was mental busy for the last part of the day, and I got out about 20 minutes late. Luckily Melissa picked me up.
Penny's been crawling today. Well. Dragging herself across the floor at a snails pace. But it's progress. While Melissa cooked our tea, Penny and I played in the living room. We ate our tea and Penny stared on with jealousy, then we took her up to bed. She wont sit still. I tried to strip her off for her bath and she just wasn't having any of it. Wriggle, wriggle, wriggle. She was trying to stand up. I think she feels she's too good to crawl and wants to get straight onto walking.
We'll see.
The man came to look at the oven today and priced us at £50, he's taken the door away to fit some hinges and is coming back tomorrow.
This evening, provided Penny goes off to sleep, I'm hoping to play some XBOX.
It's Thursday tomorrow.
I should put the bins out...
