Work was alright. Busy. Ish. I don't know. I finished at 3pm and that's when I stopped caring.
I walked to (the) ASDA for kindling, firelighters, charcoal and matches. And cider. Then Melissa picked me up and we went up to her mum and dads. She left me there with Penny and headed out for errands. I amused her as best as I could, then Greg and Rachel turned up with their little girl Hunter, all the way from New'astle.
I fired up the barbecue, as that's my thing, that I do and we ate heartily. Penny had a bit of a nap and was really well behaved. She gorged herself on baby related stuff. Waffles, jelly, chicken and such, then we came home. I fought to keep her awake in the car, with success. Then Melissa bathed her, fed her and we're just at the point were we put her down for the night. She's had a busy day, and has been really well behaved. She even made a new friend.
That's not true, actually. She's very distrustful of this particular doll. Doesn't like the way her hair feels. She liked Hunter though. Hunter hated me.
Bedtime, now. For Penny anyway. I've got more cider to drink and sweat to excrete.
